PhotobucketWe would like to invite your business to partner with the Alabama Blues Project for our “Evening of Art and Blues.” This spectacular event will be held on December 8th, 2012, at Tuscaloosa’s historic L&N Station and will feature outstanding blues artists 2BLU & The Lucky Stiffs performing alongside our very own advanced band.

In our Blues Camps, which are open to the entire community, we make special efforts to attract at-risk children. At least 70% of our children are considered at-risk. We partner with Tuscaloosa Housing Authority, YMCA and Boys & Girls Club to bring a diverse mix of children together. In 2004, we were awarded the national Coming Up Taller Award by the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities.

The support of the Evening of Art and Blues is a win-win situation. In return for your sponsorship, your business will be listed on promotional materials for this prestigious and well-attended event, as detailed below. In addition, you will have the deep satisfaction of giving children in the Tuscaloosa area the opportunity to come together and learn music.

This year, we would like to reach out to more up-and-coming artists in our area as well . Art included is paintings, photography, jewelry, small sculptures and pottery.

Rest assured, donating artists will be contributing to a wonderful cause. As well as helping our program, it is a good chance to increase awareness about your work among art lovers. We will include artist profiles, business cards, etc. to go along with respective donations.  Also, we’ll be making a links page off our web site for all our artists who are participating.

Retail store owners: we also accept gift baskets and certificates!
